Porous Particles and Ordered Porous Film and Their Applications
Porous materials have been applied in many applications such as catalysis, chromatography, controlled drugs release, adsorption, and other applications. Herein, we introduce the synthesis of porous materials, both porous particle and 3D porous film by using the template-assisted spray drying/pyrolysis method and the template-driven self-assembly technique respectively. Based on material characterization, the porous materials have a higher surface area and activity, lower density, and lower refractive index than denser particles.
