Development of High Performance Nanocatalyst

Mesoporous gamma alumina has various interesting properties and has been applied as a catalyst for the decomposition of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) due to its high surface area. We have successfully synthesized mesoporous gamma alumina with high surface area by urea route method. We also investigated the effect of nano metal oxide impregnation on the properties of gamma alumina and the catalytic activity for VOC decomposition.
