Machine Learning for Materials Science

In recent years, researchers have begun to apply machine learning (ML) in materials research. ML is one of the most robust and versatile artificial intelligences, and it performs well when dealing with very large data. Furthermore, ML has demonstrated excellent capabilities to accelerate the development of new materials. We introduced a machine learning approach for materials science research. We investigated the material synthesis and characterization of materials using machine learning algorithm to get ML model of the desired properties. The selected ML model may not only produce more accurate prediction and synthesis guidance, but also reveal new information or hypotheses regarding the fundamental mechanism of successful synthesis.
