Perovskite Solar Cell
Perovskite Solar Cell
Organolead halide perovskite is one of the emerging materials which is currently being widely investigated for solar cells due to its wide absorption spectra spanning from UV to the near infrared (NIR) regions. In our research, hybrid perovskite materials, are synthesized using lead material which is extracted from solder wire. It showed that CH3NH3PbI(3-x)Clx from solder wire lead had the same element composition as from commercial lead.

Hybrid Perovskite for Optoelectronic Applications
Organolead halide perovskite is one of the emerging materials which is currently being widely investigated for various optoelectronic applications due to its fast carriers mobility, wide absorption spectra, and tunable emission and absorption wavelength. Stability issues of these materials are still an important concern of researchers to be improved. Our group has developed a facile approach to produce the CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite magic size cluster with good stability by adding silica (SiO2). A synergetic effect between an excessed surface ligand and SiO2 inhibits the protonation and deprotonation reaction between amine-based and acid-based ligand, leading to enhanced PL stability.
